1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Plumbing Hub Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

Plumbing Hub Inc. offers residential and commercial plumbing services, including but not limited to:

  • Pipe installation and repair
  • Drain cleaning and unclogging
  • Water systems installation and maintenance
  • Fixture installation and upgrades
  • Emergency plumbing services

All services are performed in accordance with the Ontario Building Code, specifically Part 7 – Plumbing, and applicable municipal bylaws.

3. Booking and Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled via phone, email, or our website. Plumbing Hub Inc. reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including emergencies or inclement weather.

4. Permits and Compliance

Clients are responsible for obtaining any required municipal permits unless otherwise agreed in writing. Plumbing Hub Inc. will advise on permit requirements but is not liable for delays or penalties resulting from lack of compliance.

5. Pricing and Payment

All pricing is provided upfront and is subject to HST (13%). Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and e-transfers.

Late payments may incur a fee of 2% per month (24% annually). Plumbing Hub Inc. reserves the right to suspend services or pursue legal remedies for unpaid invoices.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a $50 fee. No-shows may be charged the full service call rate.

7. Warranty and Guarantee

Plumbing Hub Inc. offers a 90-day warranty on labor and a manufacturer’s warranty on parts, where applicable. Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

8. Water Treatment Maintenance and Warranty Compliance

To ensure the optimal performance, longevity, and safety of your newly installed equipment – including but not limited to Water Softeners, UV Treatment Systems, Reverse Osmosis Systems, Water Filtration Systems, and Chlorine Treatment Systems – regular professional maintenance is required.

  1. Service Interval: All water treatment systems must be serviced by a qualified technician at least once every twelve (12) months from the date of installation, or as specified by the manufacturer’s guidelines, whichever comes first.
  2. Warranty Validity: Manufacturer warranties and Plumbing Hub’s installation warranties are strictly contingent upon this mandatory annual service. Failure to perform regular scheduled maintenance, the use of unapproved filters/media, or the neglect of required service intervals will void all applicable warranties.
  3. Customer Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the customer to schedule these recurring maintenance appointments. Plumbing Hub is not liable for system failures, water quality degradation, or property damage resulting from neglected or deferred maintenance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plumbing Hub Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service rendered.

10. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plumbing Hub Inc., its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse of services or breach of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Client information is handled in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties without consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

13. Amendments

Plumbing Hub Inc. reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or website notice.
